Notes: |
We had gone to Sydney NE and when we ot back the corn north of town was all stripped up on the leaves. Talking with people through out the week the said that it was tuesday afternon about 3:00 to 3:30 PM.
That is about the same time we were headed to Sydney and run into heavy rain ar Chappell NE. then went on towards Lodgepole and about two miles out of town run into hail about pea to 3/8" and sped up and got out of it, because you could se that there was not any on pavement in front of us abut a 1000 Ft. But it was raining prett good and was going to stop and get under something and by the time we were in town rain had quit and the hail moved on south. But the big funny looking clod the ail was coming out of was just behind us all the way to Sydney NE, then went north. Big dark cloud with white currly edge all around it.
So thats why my hail report is late for the 9th, 2011 |
