Notes: |
Hail started suddenly during peak of a thunderstorm. At peak mostly hail falling, with little rainfall. Some hail clear, some white. Cannot tell about car dent damage since my cars were in home garage. At peak hailfall was heavy making loud roaring noise on house roof, with steady whanging noises on house guttering. Some local trees blew down during this intense rain and hail storm. Rain continued for another half hour or so after hailstorm quit. At one point white hail covered about 50% green lawn, but melted quickly. Most heavy hail I have see around here in years. |
