I have no 'hail pad'. I observed isolated small hail stones, falling about 8 to 12 inches apart from each other, over a 2 minute time period. Some stones bounced more than others. Temperature was 50F. And very light rain drops accompanied the hail. I was alarmed enough to quickly cover some fragile plants. But there was no ground accumulation. |
