Station Name: Thornton 2.1 N
Date: 7/4/2019 6:16 PM
Submitted 7/04/2019 6:45 PM
Taken at registered location: True
Notes: Most of initial stones were 3/8" and many shaped like chefs hat, with top being white ice, lower part being more translucent, then mix came with a few smaller but many larger stones, larger being hard white and very round. Event did not last long, but this station is on the western edge of moving cells, which are heading up I76 and then westward toward Greeley. Light to moderate rain mostly large drops continue even now - 6:43. Incredible amount of L/T, but seems mostly to be C-t-C with a few real boomers.
