Hail Report Information

Station Name: Strawberry 0.5 NNW
Date: 5/3/2020 1:45 PM
Submitted 5/03/2020 2:01 PM
Taken at registered location: True
Notes: Thunderstorm was supposed to have 1 inch hail according to radar but I only saw a dozen stones or less up to 3/8" in diameter. In other words it took sharp eyes and ears to detect any hail at all. However we did have 0.56" of rain from 1:25 to 1:53pm and probably at least 0.55 of that fell from 1:37 to 1:47pm. (That was the period of heavy rain.) Wind was a little gusty before the storm around 1:15pm but nothing to speak of.
