The only way that I was sure that hail was falling was to go ouside with a black umbrella as the hail melted on contact with the ground and its intensity remained light. Not many hail pellets hit the umbrella. More big splatty raindrops hit it than hail pellets. I heard the hail for about 3 minutes. |
