Hail Report Information
Station Number: CO-JF-10
Station Name: Denver 5.5 WSW
Date: 4/6/2010 7:00 AM
Submitted 4/06/2010 9:33 AM
Taken at registered location: True
Notes: Hail started about 7 am and ended by 7:10 am (it might have started a few minutes before 7 am). I estimated hail was 0.02" after it melted. I checked the gage at 7:10 am and the storm was to the east (Denver) with mostly clear skies at gage location. The hail depth on the ground was estimated but basically it was one hailstone diameter (0.1 inches) in depth. Soft hail had metled by 8:30 am except on north facing slopes. Also, see precipitation report for April 6th. RDJ
