I arrived home approx. 5:20pm, and it was raining very hard, and mixed with hail. The rain was beating on my window so I couldnt see outside, and it was mixed with 1/2" hail. The ground was covered with the hail, so it looked like it had been going on for maybe 10 minutes (approx. 2" betw. hail stones?) I sat in my car for at least 15 to 20 minutes until it calmed down, and then went inside. The hail had stopped, and it was only lightly raining. I think it may have rained another 15-30 minutes. There was .51 precipitation in the gauge when I went into the house and another .07 accumulated after that. |
