Gauge Catch
0.30 in.
Notes
8 degrees at 7 am, 7950' elevation. Clear with crappy significant wind that is drifting and redistributing snowfall. Increments. 7am to 1 pm = 3.5" new snowfall (0.22" water equivalent). 1 pm to 7 pm = 1.2" new snowfall (0.07" new water equivalent). 7 pm to 10 = perhaps 0.2" new snowfall (0.01" new water equivalent). I think after that, there wasn't more than a trace new with the "breezes" already starting. On-the-ground is approximately 10" new from the last couple days and average 1" old (the latter comprising a range from bare ground to feet of drifts and plow ridges).
