The sand bank is showing in the Crow River between Glencoe and Silver Lake on County Road 2. This has been pretty unusual until last year, when I saw it for a couple of months.
Crops are still growing, but in the garden we see stress from wind and no rain, so we are watering. We stopped mowing lawn two weeks ago until it rains again. (In the shade, things look better but are still dry.)
All our first-cutting hay was made without rain for the second year in a row. This is so unusual!
