There has been no significant rain at this location since December 21st.  There have been several cold fronts pass through in the past few weeks that brought some light showers, which produced less than 0.25 inches each.  However, the fronts did bring a lot of cool, cloudy weather that reduced evaporation rates and kept us from getting too dry.

There is little standing water left in the ditches and seasonal ponds, so I am observing an increase of birds and animals visiting my bird bath.
