Beautiful summer weather, but so very dry in the woods. Some Sword ferns are wilting. Fire danger is very high.  Baby Robins have fledged and are learning about bird baths.  Robins take more baths than any other bird.  I'm finding cherry pits in the birdbath, so the Bitter Cherries are ripening.  Found a Red Baneberry plant in the woods that I hadn't noticed before.  Clusters of bright red berries. The whole plant is very poisonous.  Weeks precip 0.01"  ETo 0.66"
