By this time the summer "monsoon" should be in full swing. Last week it was mildly apparent but most of the moisture fell in the surrounding areas. It is like a heat bubble is starting to form here in the Payson, Az area much like down in the Phoenix area. Surrounding vegetation is turning brown  which heightens the risk of fire. Hopefully we will see the "monsoon" moisture return next week.
