Only a trace of precip this past week. Surface of the soil appears dry and cracked. No moisture registers 6" down. High temps in the upper 80s last week until yesterday's 91.  Low humidity. Trees are stressed. Unirrigated grass is dormant. Wildfire smoke was not as intense this past week. Two Red Flag days.
