Grass is seriously turning brown, plants are drooping from lack of rain (nothing substantial since 7/10), birds come to puddles to drink. The last few days were a respite for last weeks hazy, hot, humid weather that is returning today. het advisory issued through Wednesday night. Beaches and air conditioned stores, restaurants, etc. are crowded. We should remember this heat when we're griping in February.
