Rainfall continues to stay in the near normal amount due to the distribution of the thunder storms. They usually are not very wide spread and seem to travel in a narrow mostly straight line. We received 2.77" but amounts varied widely. Hence the Nearly normal. Hay harvesting is getting into the swing of things and will keep everyone busy for the next several weeks. Yields seem to be pretty good but the weed crop this hear has been bad particularly for farmers who did not use herbicides.
