The 3+ inches of rain this past week, including the 2.95" on one day, was a lifesaver to the crops. The corn as grown at least 8 inches since that rain. It fell evenly all day, so in my immediate area there was no ponding, it all soaked in. The creeks are running again, good to see for the wildlife.
