The rain total for this week was only 0.06" (two °.03" days). While it was a light rain here, towns not too far away received some 4" in a few hours yesterday as a front slowly moved east (unofficial: 4.50" in just three hours in Woburn). TV news reported last night that Woburn received the most rain with over 4" from that storm. Huge contrast to our 0.03" only some 25 miles away.
Most of the week was very pleasant. Summerlike days, with one day reaching into the 90s, combined with sunshine brought on lots of growing plants. "No Mow May" has passed, so we mowed the lawn. Birds were following along catching bugs. Window boxes and planters are mostly filled up. Sure feels like summer is upon us.
