Last week brought a mix of Sun and Clouds including random Rain Showers making it a nearly perfect week to keep the grasses moist, the Temps not too unbearable and opportunities to still enjoy the outdoors. As we get closer to the start of Summer, the environment is set to now sit back and just enjoy the nature around us. I have noticed with the last two summer droughts, several neighbors have started the 2-year process and covered areas of their yards with the black plastic to kill off the nuisance weeds that took over. I chose a different route with a deep tilling and re-sodding my backyard, which so far looks incredible, though time will tell the ultimate outcome through the Summer and Fall. Forecast: Temp range from high 50's to high 70's with Mostly Cloudy skies. Brief Rain Showers to start, then more significant Rain towards the end of the week.
