The ground is supersaturated. Stream flow well above normal. The lawns are very soggy. The plants and trees are blooming. Will definitely be severely wet by the middle or end of this week according to the GFS Canadian Model and the European models. Cincinnati will likely have some impassible local roads sometime this week due to flash flooding and high water. There will likely be landslide problems and retaining wall failures in the Cincinnati area this week due to the extreme amount of rain in the forecast. I will have to probably issue another condition monitoring report in several days later this week stating severely wet. Rain fall is already well above normal this year and will be extremely above normal for the year before this week is over with nearly twice the normal amount for the year if the forecast holds true. Over a half foot of rain is in the forecast this week. Doe Run Lake Reservoir is full as of today in Kenton County and the dam will definitely overflow later this week causing severe flooding problems in Pioneer Park along KY 17 and to some of the homes on old KY 17 in Kenton County, Kentucky. There could even be a potential of some trees uprooting on steep slopes this week due to the supersaturated soil.
