First report of 2025.  Entering late winter/early spring and the Michigan Drought Monitor has us listed in "severe drought" area.  We did have more snow cover this winter than has been typical the last few years, but it is now gone and rainfall has been limited since the early warm up.  Farmers will be preparing for early planting in the next few weeks for sugar beets and corn.
