We haven’t had any rain or precipitation for some time.  High winds make fire danger a constant possibility.  The playas are dried or close to drying up in the area.  Fauna looks parched, brown in some instances.  It isn’t necessarily abnormal for this area.  But we are definitely in a dry spell with abundant dust in the air when the wind blows making air quality poor.
