0.50" of rain so far in March.  We are having a mudless mud season.  A long time cattle farmer in the neighborhood commented how strange it is to move hay bales with his 2-wheel drive tractor.  Our two perennial streams are low for this time of year.  The top layer of soil is dusty in areas of thin vegetation.
