On Feb 19 & 20 it snowed almost continuously, and we were pretty much stranded at home.  I had removed the funnel and measuring tube of my fain gauge in order to collect the snow.  It turned bitterly cold, and the gauge was frozen solid. There was significant thawing due to abundant sunshine for several days.  This morning I brought the gauge in and let it melt. 0.16" of liquid were in the measuring tube.
