Conditions here have changed to mildly dry.  Our recent rain and snow have  raised our total to about 80% of yearly average.  Jordon Lake appears nearly bank full and small streams are flowing.  As the snow has melted, abundant dry dead surface vegetation remains from last year.  We have had morning frosts nearly everyday for the last two months. Frozen surface soils support my 175 lb. weight, and some soil heaving is observed.
