We had snow overnight Mon (2/17)/Tues (2/18). I estimate 4-5" when all was said and done. I'm unsure how to report that in the precipitation report, as very little snow made it into the guage container, so there was only a skiff of snow to melt. A little wind drifted the snow, enough that I didn't know where to measure for accuracy. I just know I had to sweep and shovel to clear walks and drive. Temps have been exceedingly cold, into negative numbers without the wind chill. Schools closed Tu & Wed because of the negative temps and snow. The comb on my rooster is damaged with frostbite. A racoon, looking for food in the barn, destroyed the live trap. I've seen several good sized herds of deer grazing on winter wheat.
