Last week was dry with no precipitation falling. It started off windy with high temperatures in the 60's except for a high of 56° on Monday. Then the winds calmed down and highs rose into the 70's. The high of the week was 74° on Friday and Saturday. Lows were mostly in the 30's and 40's except for a low of 27° on Tuesday. Most plants are at least coming out of dormancy now including the Honey Locust which is budding. Harvesting asparagus daily now. The surrounding open wildland areas continue to put forth new green growth. Have seen a large frog in the pond every day and many different types of birds (robins, finches, black birds, etc) in the yard.
