About eight-tenths of an inch of rain the past week spread out over four days, along with some thunder. Temperatures started off well above normal before going below normal with the week still averaging somewhat over six degrees above. Shrubbery have exploded with green as leaves on more trees become visible. Oaks have begun popping leaves this past week. Grass has become greener and growing. Rhubarb is ready to cut. Blue Heron and White Egret have been pond visitors. Small streams have a steady flow but still low. No fieldwork observed.
