Total rainfall for the month of September was 1.37" which is around an inch below average. Still, grass is green but growth is slowing down a lot and I would say we're on the drier side of normal. Harvest has been very slow to get going  since the crops still have a lot of green left in them but it should pick up towards the middle and end of next week. With very little rain in the short and long term forecasts, it's looking to be a very nice start to harvest after the crops dry out a little bit more.
