We received 0.86" of rain this week. Our conditions are Near Normal. This week our temperatures were warm but not as hot as the week before. Tulips, bleeding hearts, vinca, columbine, and lilacs are blooming with azaleas and red bud blooms well past their peak. Oaks, black walnut, sycamore, and catalpa trees are still leafing out. Lawns are green, lush and require at least once-a-week mowing. Mosquitoes have started showing up. Bird flu continues to be a concern in wild birds and poultry in Michigan.
