Going with near normal for this report, thanks to several events which brought a much-needed total of 1.24” in the prior week. Adding the caveat that we are still in something of a deficit for May, April and March, and the models don’t promise much rain in the next 10 days. Garden soils are moist, though not wet. Grasses seem happy, growing with abandon, and the locusts (predominate tree species around here) are finally leafing out. Many flowering trees abloom – the area is lovely. Pond level is normal, as is wildlife activity.
