Be sure to report each day, even if you received no rain. Zeros are important information when we look at rainfall distribution.
Please be advised that the android app for CoCoRaHS is not completely stable. It still needs some work. As soon as it is stable we will let you know.
Monday 6-17-2013: The high pressure ridge will remain in place through the rest of the week, with temperatures hovering a few degrees above normal. Dry conditions will also continue through the end of the week. The eastern part of the state had some light showers over the weekend, but will dry out. Fire danger is still high in the forests. If you know someone in the Rainlog network, who uses the 4" rain gauge, encourage them to join the CoCoRaHS network as well. We can always use more observers and it only takes a few extra moments to report their values to both networks. Currently the National Weather Service ingests the CoCoRaHS observer data and uses our values in local reports. Contact me if you have questions or ideas at selover@asu.edu Thank you for participating and volunteering your time. Nancy Selover - State Coordinator
