Notes: This period was dry until about 2:45 p.m. on the 24th of April when thunderstorms developed to the south. They moved gradually through the station from the southwest to east and we were under a large area of rain and thunderstorms. The thunderstorms gradually changed to light rain and ended by just after 8:00 p.m. Overnight, on the 25th, the skies remained overcast but the rain stopped. By morning the light rain started back up and was still raining at this observation. The current conditions are overcast skies with light rain and a temp of 67F. The morning low temp was 64F. The dew point temp is 63F at the airport with south winds at 7 mph. The afternoon forecast calls for more showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 4 pm. More showers and thunderstorms are likely after 4 pm with a high temp near 76F. Light south winds will prevail. Tonight, showers and thunderstorms will be likely, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy skies will prevail after midnight with a low temp around 55F.
