Grass and corn crops are growing well, soybeans could use more rain. The excessive heat and humidity this past week have been a burden on my animals - they are drinking a lot more water, and staying in the shade or in the barn. Even the birds don't come to the feeders or birdbaths in the heat of the day.  The air conditioning has been running non-stop.
