No precip this week, and conditions were warm and dry, recently colder. Things look about normal and only the low levels of some larger ponds remind of the drought this summer/fall. In the woods, standing water has disappeared and mud has dried up. Ground is bare and birds and squirrels have been busy accessing food. Overall, normal for a January except warmer than usual temperatures, and the lack of snow.
