Only 0.11 and a couple of traces to report for rain this week. Top soil is getting hard and down a ways when putting temp probe in the soil. Soil still remains cool for this time of year.  Trees pretty much leafed out, Plants seem to still be doing good, Flowers. Pastures and grass still good but slowing a bit. No frost Sat. night, 39°F for a low at this location. Planting of crops seems to be pretty much done.  Only saw two late workers in the field coming home late from a Grad Party some distance N.W. of this location Friday night. Society and Public Health seems the same. Have to get a good sized Pine Tree cut down apparently killed by Arial over spray last crop season. Hate the loss of a nice tree. Hoped it would recover but no such luck. Mowing again in less than a week.
